COVID-19 (Coronavirus) update

The company Tovuz-Baltiya was founded in 1989 for the purpose of growing grapes and producing wine products. It was named Tovuz-Baltika due to its success in exporting its first products to the Baltic countries: Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Poland.

The company produces high-quality cognacs aged over 25-50 years which are bottled using French technology and in accordance with European standards. The bottles, corks and other materials come from Italy, France, Czech Republic and Germany. The company has an efficient infrastructure for delivering its products to the world market. It has a favourable location in the western region of Azerbaijan, near the new Silk Road connecting Europe with Asia.

The company currently has a cognac factory with a production capacity of over 1,000 d/l per day, as well as 65 hectares of vineyards – where special varieties such as Rkatsiteli, Gold Riesling, Bayan Shira, Ugni Blanc, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon – are grown. These include both local varieties and technical grape varieties imported from France. In addition, the company is capable of receiving 5,000 tons of fruits and vegetables from the population. The average annual grape harvest is 10.37 tonnes. The production capacity allows for about 70 tons of grapes to be processed per hour using equipment from France, Germany and Italy.

The company’s products include the wines "Tovuz & A", "Tovuz & N", "Tovuz & R", "Baki-Ceyhan", "Merlot", "Nizami", "Leyli-Majnun", "Bayati-Shiraz", "Gold Riesling", "Delhi Kur"; the pomegranate wine "AzerNar"; the VS cognac “Absheron”; the VSOP cognacs "Bouquet of Azerbaijan", "Ganja", "Azerbaijan", "Baku", "Shirvan"; the XO cognacs "Tovuz", "Gold Tovuz" and "Peter I", “Leyli-Majnun”, “Baki-Ceyhan”; the vodka “Baku-Ceyhan”; the pomegranate vodka “Zakuro Gold”; and the whiskey “Old Tovuz”.
